This piece was inspired by watching some fantastic short films on the Black Panthers. It was disc 1 of a series called “What We Want, What We Believe: Black Panther Party Library“. They have this great old footage of the Black Panthers in San Francisco. The films really opened my eyes to how the group has been vilified.
