Col. Eugene Conrad Watkins

A beautiful man passed away on May 11, 2012. Col Eugene Conrad Watkins. I only knew him a short time but he dazzled me with his soldier tales and stories of adventure. He was an inspiration being both so accomplished in his life and carrying himself with grace, honesty and wisdom. A pilot and officer for in the Air Force for 3 wars and many decades, a professor, a woodworker, father to 4 and 54 years of marriage…. what a life. His large loving family surrounded him making his golden years bright. He filled those years with kindness and fun. I feel honored to have met him. He will be dearly missed.
